The Bacton Community Workshop is a non-profit club providing workshop facilities for men & women, aged 16 years and beyond. For those who are practical and enjoy working with their hands, this is the perfect space for you to develop your own projects/skills, start to finish.
We provide a fully equipped workshop which has benches to work on, a wide variety of hand tools and power tools which can achieve almost anything! If you enjoy woodworking, metalworking or want to learn a new skill and hobby, this is the place for you! It is an opportunity allowing you to learn and create in a friendly, supportive and positive environment. With over 50 years’ experience between us, we are keen to share this with the youngsters and the elders!
Becoming a member of the Bacton Community Workshop allows you access to our facility all year round, as little or often as you wish! There is a yearly subscription which goes directly towards maintaining and running the workshop facility. We also have a fully functioning kitchen with a seating area for much needed coffee breaks! All you need to do is get in touch, using the details provided on our page, and arrange your visit to one of our sessions.
